Description: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to East Carolina University for the purpose of developing a hydrologic process model for the Lake Mattamuskeet watershed to improve the understanding of volumetric fluctuations, which contribute to community flooding and water quality issues, and to improve the decision and analysis process for the restoration plan, such that it leads to better outcomes for all stakeholders.
