Description: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service¿s (FWS) Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration (NRDAR) Program¿s purpose is to restore natural resources and their services that have been injured by an oil discharge or hazardous substance release for the benefit of the American people. Natural Resource Damage Assessment, Restoration and Implementation (CFDA 15.658) legal authorities: the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), as amended (42 U.S.C. §§ 9601, et seq.); the Oil Pollution Act (OPA) (33 U.S.C. §§ 2701, et seq.); the Federal Water Pollution Control Act or Clean Water Act (CWA), as amended (33 U.S.C. §§ 1251, et seq.); and, Consent Decree, United States v. Sunoco, Inc. and Sun Pipe Line Company, Civil Action No. 5:16-CV-0082 (7/2005), and RP/EA for the Sunoco Oil Spill and Publicker Superfund site.
