Description: This NOFO will strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Health (MOH) to deliver quality and timely health services through improved laboratory management and coordination in ensuring provision and management of comprehensive, quality-assured, HIV-related laboratory services; designing and implementing frameworks for tester and site certification for HIV testing services (HTS); ensuring reliability and accuracy of HIV rapid test results by working with PEPFAR implementing partners (IPs) to mitigate service delivery gaps for Rapid HIV testers whilst assisting the Central Public Health Laboratories (CPHL) in monitoring the performance of laboratories and Point of Care Testing sites (POCTs). Other activities will include HIV drug resistance (HIVDR) sentinel surveys; validation of emerging laboratory assays, testing algorithms, and equipment; and improving data dissemination through presentations and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
