Additional Information

Agency Name: Geological Survey
Description: The National Geospatial Program (NGP) of the United States Geological Survey (USGS), is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner that has the ability to conduct research on geographic information science and cultural resource data in the Gulf Coast CESU. NGP primarily conducts research and develops solutions in support of The National Map and the geospatial needs of the Department of the Interior (DOI). Much of this research supports our mission to organize, maintain, publish and disseminate the geospatial baseline of the Nationâ¿¿s topography, natural landscape, and built environment through The National Map, a set of basic geospatial information provided as a variety of products and services. For a successful cooperative agreement, the CESU recipient must have complementary research interests and be able to address these and other potential research topics.
