The INRSP has the unique ability, responsibility, and experience to work with decentralized health centers throughout Mali; to further develop the capacity of these centers by sustaining them with training and supervision on a regional and national scale. Additionally, since 1996 the INRSP has had a long history of collaboration with various divisions at the CDC, such as the STD Division, the Meningitis Division, the Neglected Tropical Diseases Division, Malaria Division, in addition to the Division of DGHA under PEPFAR. The INRSP is also a current partner of the Government of Mali National HIV-AIDS Control Program (CSLS/MS) in implementing laboratory based STI-HIV-AIDS surveillance activities.
