Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program. This program is one of the Department of State’s premiere diversity recruitment programs and fundamental to increasing the representation of diverse groups in the U.S. Foreign Service. Women, members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, and students with financial need are strongly encouraged to apply.
