The USFWS and partners, including US Geological Survey, and the University of California, are establishing the California Landscape Conservation Cooperative (CA LCC). The CA LCC will provide a critical bridge that links science and management to effectively address these challenges. Part of bridging the disciplines of science and management will require a strong educational and outreach effort to a wide variety of audiences. The goal of this agreement is to assist with the establishment of the CA LCC by joining an array of supportive research, education and outreach projects and activities to advance the missions of each party and simultaneously increase public awareness regarding climate change impact and the science related to the field.
