1. How common are algal blooms across the landscape and what drives their occurrence?
2. How do algal productivity and biogeochemistry vary across landscape and temperature gradients?
3. What is the spatial extent in mid-to late summer phytoplankton and periphyton productivity across Sierra Nevada national parks?
