US Geological Survey & Partners: Cooperative Research Units Program Grant

The US Geological Survey (USGS), along with Host Universities, State Natural Resource Agencies, Wildlife Management Institute, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service, jointly offers the Cooperative Research Units Program. This grant supports 40 Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Units located on university campuses in 38 states. The program fosters a unique, established collaborative relationship between states, universities, federal government, and non-profits, originating in the 1930s.
