Agency Name: Agency for International Development
Description: The USAID Bureau for Global Health (GH), Office of HIV and AIDS (OHA) requests comments for the Supporting Operational AIDS Research Project (Project SOAR), which will conduct operational research and evaluation activities, build the capacity of USG partners to do so, and promote data utilization for broader global impact. The aim of Project SOAR is to support and advance implementation of global HIV and AIDS programming, including the PresidentÂ’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), through operational research and evaluation assistance to USAID missions and the USAID/Washington Office of HIV and AIDS. Activities implemented under this award should contribute to the goal and objectives described in this program description, and support the achievement of the USAID and PEPFAR goals and objectives outlined in the PEPFAR Blueprint, USAID Forward, country operational plans and other USG strategic planning documents.
