This activity will improve Zimbabwe’s electoral systems and approaches for choosing their leaders and representatives. The overall objectives of this activity are to:

  1. Strengthen civil society capacity to observe and assess the pre-election, election and post-election environment.
  2. Ensure that citizens have access to information to effectively participate in and oversee democratic processes.
  3. Assist election-related institutions to effectively execute their constitutional, election-related mandates.
  4. Foster multi-stakeholder partnerships to monitor and advocate for policy and operational reforms of Zimbabwe’s electoral and political processes.

Results against these objectives will be achieved through close, strategic collaboration with various local and international partners.
