Federal Award Information The purpose of this activity is to provide direct HIV services to attain epidemic control and sustained reduction in HIV transmission, morbidity, and mortality among focus clients (FCs) and other priority populations. This activity will provide HIV services in healthcare facilities and surrounding communities in targeted provinces in the DR. Initial provinces include Santo Domingo, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macoris, and La Romana. At the national level, the activity will have a proactive role in relevant technical working groups to ensure that the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and Government of the DR (GoDR) strategic priorities and guidelines are appropriately implemented.
