The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Integrated Health Office (IHO) seeks feedback and comments to specific questions outlined below on the Program Description for malaria prevention and treatment behaviors in target areas of Mozambique through the use of evidence-based and theory-driven social and behavior change (SBC) activities in Mozambique (SBC Malaria). The SBC Malaria program ultimately seeks to:

  1. Increase implementation and monitoring of evidence-based malaria social and behavior change (SBC) interventions; and
  2. Improve malaria SBC design, implementation, and monitoring demonstrated by Ministry of Health and implementation partners.

The purpose of this communication is to obtain industry comment on the attached DRAFT Program Description (PD) for planning purposes as an attempt to identify capabilities of potential partners and feedback to the technical questions below. Therefore, respondents are advised that any information submitted may be used to inform the development of the anticipated PD.
