This grant, offered by USAID, aims to significantly contribute to global malaria control by supporting the distribution and use of Long-Lasting Insecticide-Treated Nets (LLINs). However, any USAID operating unit (field missions, bureaus, etc) with malaria control programs will be encouraged to participate in this activity.
The new award will build on previous and on-going USG investments, including those made under the PMI, the NetMark Project, as well as investments by other partners. The agreement will be a five-year competitively awarded Cooperative Agreement to begin in FY 2009. The project will be funded with a combination of core and field support funding. This agreement will be authorized to accept all types of USAID funding as long as the use is consistent with the scope of this award and USAIDs malaria control objectives. |
