USAID/West Africa, through its Regional Health Office, is offering this grant to support critical efforts in Cameroon’s fight against HIV/AIDS. This grant is for the purpose of contributing to the Cameroon HIV/AIDS National Strategic Plan (2011-2015), which aims to reduce HIV/STI-related morbidity and mortality and mitigate the epidemic’s socioeconomic impact. Specifically, the initiative focuses on controlling HIV among key populations, who are most affected and serve as a bridging group for transmission to the general population. The CHAMP Cameroon program, supported by this grant, will assist the government in addressing service gaps by expanding prevention, care, and treatment services to marginalized groups, including men who have sex with men (MSM), commercial sex workers (CSW), and their clients.
