Additional Information

Agency Name: Zambia USAID-Lusaka
Description: The District Coverage of Health Services(DISCOVER) Activity (referred to as the “Activity”) will support an innovative approach to scaling up VMMC services, as well as providing critical HIV/AIDS and TB services at non-conventional sites (non-public sector located sites operated directly by a USAID-supported implementing partner) within Zambia by capitalizing on the delivery platform for VMMC and socially marketed commodities. It will also expand family planning services in order to reduce the unmet need for family planning, integrating these services into HIV services. In addition, DISCOVER will build upon the PRISM project by increasing the distribution and sale of mature (socially marketed health services and products already being marketed by PRISM) socially-marketed health products and services by 50% (baseline: PRISM results for 2013), as well as introducing new products and services; and develop and implement context-specific strategies to achieve sustainability of socially-marketed health products and services.
