SUSTAINABLE RANGE STUDY Richardson Training Area, Fort Wainwright, and Donnelly Training Area, Alaska This project is intended to provide Range and Training Land Assessment (RTLA) support for USARAK’s Sustainable Range Program (SRP). Tasks include performing RTLA assessments to evaluate the capability of training lands to meet multiple use demands on a sustainable basis, performing missionscape readiness evaluations and monitoring, military exercise monitoring, and providing GIS Support for the ITAM program. The objectives of the program are to sustain the land in a condition to provide for optimal military training while protecting cultural resources soil, water, vegetation, and wildlife in a healthy and diverse state. |
