The USDA is offering this grant to support the creation and maintenance of an Expert Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Decision Support System (EIPMDSS). This grant is for the purpose of developing expert systems designed to guide, demonstrate, and amplify the impacts of existing USDA-supported IPM initiatives. The successful applicant’s EIPMDSS will facilitate the establishment and communication of IPM research, education, and extension priorities. Furthermore, it will enable diverse stakeholders to access selected program outputs, compile reports based on LOGIC models, and effectively synthesize the overall impacts of these vital programs.
