Additional Information
| Agency Name: | Bureau of International Labor Affairs |
| Description: |
Subject to the availability of funds, USDOL’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) intends to award, through a competitive process, one cooperative agreement to an organization to implement a project in Peru, Georgia, and at least one additional trade partner country with a current need, to be selected after award by USDOL in consultation with the successful applicant. The project will support effective labor law enforcement by building the long-term capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) and workers to engage effectively with labor law enforcement authorities. Ensuring that workplaces adhere to applicable labor laws requires the leadership of government enforcement authorities, but it is strengthened through the active engagement and participation of workers and employers. This funding opportunity announcement solicits applications to implement a project with the objective of effective engagement by workers and CSOs with the government and employers to improve enforcement of labor laws. |
