The USGS Alaska Science Center is offering this grant to fund research focused on developing down-scaled climate projection models for Alaska. This initiative aims to generate high-resolution (<2 km), monthly datasets of future (21st century) temperature and precipitation patterns across the region. A critical component of this research is quantifying the sources and magnitudes of uncertainties associated with these projections.
