Description: | Notice of Intent to issue a cooperative agreement to Murray State University (MSU) in support of collaborative research and facilities with the USGS. This agreement will afford t he parties the opportunity to expand their collaborative research relationship and provide access to university facilities including research laboratories, libraries, classes, etc. The USGS and MSU share common interest and expertise in the general areas of biological and water resources. To further enhance cooperative research between the USGS and MSU, the parties will initiate and pursue cooperative research projects in water resources and in related areas consistent with the mission of the USGS and the centers of research at MSU. The assistance will reflect knowledge and expertise of invasive species issues. Hancock Biological Field Station at Land Between the Lakes. The authority to enter into this agreement is 43 USC 36d.
