The primary Research Objectives covered by this opportunity include: (1) modelling coastal housing market response to sea level rise and erosion, (2) applying novel methods for quantifying the stability of populated coastal systems, (3) performing future coastal hazard assessments, (4) writing papers to peer-reviewed journals, and (5) attending meetings with the USGS coastal hazards team to discuss strategies for future work, resolve issues, and assist with the publication and dissemination of results.
