EDMAP Cooperative Agreements are intended to fund upper level (junior and senior) undergraduate and graduate (Masters and Doctoral) students. Undergraduate students must have received appropriate geoscience or related training prior to the time they are to begin the proposed project. While it is proper for the Principal Investigator to ask for some logistical financial support so that they may mentor their student(s) in the field for a credible amount of time, the bulk of the award is intended to support the student’s proposed efforts.
