The U.S. Geological Survey Southwest Biological Science Center (SBSC) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner to provide financial assistance to research strategies to promote productivity and recovery on Department of Interior lands in the Southwest. Management actions are needed to promote ecosystem productivity and accelerate land recovery on Department of the Interior (DOI) lands in the southwestern U.S. The goal of this funding opportunity is to assess the efficacy of land management strategies to mitigate degradation, improve site productivity, and recover degraded plant, soil, and ecosystem properties in disturbed parts of the Colorado Plateau and southwestern US.
