Description:: The USGS Southwest Biological Science Center (SBSC), along with other USGS offices in the southwestern United States, is offering a funding opportunity for research to provided assistance for large-scale assessment, data syntheses, identification of data needs, and preliminary analyses of priority management questions, for ecoregional areas of the Southwest (BLM¿s ¿Rapid Ecoregional Assessment¿ (REA) program). USGS has provided assistance in identifying and clearly stating priority questions, locating and evaluating best data sources for management questions and the ecoregional scale, and periodic and final review of the REA products. This document relates to the REA effort for the Colorado Plateau ecoregion, covering parts of Utah, eastern Colorado, and northern New Mexico and northern Arizona.
