WIC Department Offering 2010 Special Projects Grant for Innovative Service Delivery

Grants may be awarded to individual State agencies or to a consortium of WIC State agencies, as long as one of the agencies is designated the lead agency. Grant Projects should:
– Demonstrate national or regional significance,
– Produce results which have a demonstrable impact and are sustainable in the absence of special funding,
– Transfer to other WIC programs in the region or country,
– Be evaluated with measurable results and replicated by other WIC programs, and
– Suggest innovative or creative approaches to improving the delivery of WIC services.
