Description: Since 1998, the Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Program’s training and technical assistance initiative has supported state and local efforts to prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors and the purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors, defined as persons under 21 years old. The successful applicant will provide training and technical assistance support to state and local EUDL programs and other entities, as directed by Congress or the Office of Justice Programs. This program is authorized by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 2002, 42 U.S.C. 5665-5667 and the Department of Justice Appropriations Act, 2009, Pub. L. No. 111-8.
