Description: A partnership with the City of Las Cruces to develop interpretive exhibits on the Prehistoric Trackways National Monument (PTNM) for the developing Musuem of Nature and Science. The purpose of this agreement is to facilitate visitation to the actual Prehistoric Trackways National Monument by museum visitors. Develop an educational and interpretive program for visitors at the monument. Space in the museum would be dedicated to provide information on the monument. Self-guided touring would be accomplished in a safe manner with maps, directions and safety information. Visitors will sign up for organized guided tours led by museum staff, BLM rangers or trained docents.
