Description: The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad announces an open competition for a cooperative agreement to support a Leadership Institute for Secondary School Teachers (LISST) from Pakistan. Nonprofit organizations and accredited U.S. four-year colleges and universities meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 26 USC 501(c)(3) are eligible to submit proposals. The leadership institute will empower 20 secondary school teachers and administrators to use new paradigms and teaching methods to support learning in the classroom. Proposals should describe how the implementing partner hopes to achieve the objectives stated below. The timeframe for achieving the objectives must be clearly outlined in the proposal funding request. The project implementation period should be 12 months.
