This USAID/Peru grant is dedicated to fostering sustainable development within local communities across its operating environment. It aims to create a competitive environment for small-scale development activities directly benefiting residents. The program invites grant ideas from local communities that address critical needs and contribute to their overall well-being. Specifically, eligible projects should focus on advancing local economic growth, enhancing human health and education, strengthening democratic practices and community organizations, promoting licit livelihoods in former coca-growing regions, and conserving the environment. This initiative is designed to empower communities by supporting their efforts to implement impactful solutions tailored to their specific challenges and opportunities.
