The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah office is offering a grant for Cultural and Paleontological Resource Management. This initiative supports the preservation, protection, inventory, research, and responsible stewardship of invaluable cultural artifacts, historical sites, and paleontological discoveries on BLM-administered lands across Utah. The grant seeks proposals that enhance understanding and interpretation of the state’s rich heritage, including prehistoric and historic sites, and significant fossil records. Funded activities may encompass archaeological surveys, site monitoring, fossil excavation, collections management, and educational outreach programs. This grant highlights BLM Utah’s commitment to safeguarding these irreplaceable resources for long-term conservation and public benefit. Proposals are due by April 11, 2023.
