CCS will continue to:

• Assign Dr. Amy Costa (CCS) as technical expert to collaborate on all aspects of this project, including oversight of all aspects of sample analysis and storage prior to delivery to CCS.
• Provide supervision at CCS for CACO staff or interns assigned to support CCS lab operations.
• Share lab equipment and supplies, as necessary to maintain analytical efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain the samples as frozen or refrigerated water until analysis within 120 days of collection per protocols.
• Dr. Amy Costa of CCS and Dr. Sophia Fox of CACO will collaborate to share and interpret nutrient data from the Herring River and surrounding waters of Wellfleet Harbor. Under the direction of Dr. Costa, CCS has been collecting water quality data in Wellfleet Harbor and at one location within the Herring River since 2006. This combined data analysis will provide substantial additional spatial and temporal coverage to the CACO data set. The collaboration will also include an analysis of historical data from Herring River collected by CACO in relation to historical data from surrounding waters collected by CCS.
• Provide good communication regarding progress, issues, and changes to procedures
