This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a task agreement under a previously competed or single source justified master cooperative agreement. Antioch agrees to:
• Assign Dr. Rachel Thiet (Antioch University) as technical expert to collaborate on all aspects of this project, including oversight of PhD student work, sample design, and field and lab work.
• Supervise and direct a PhD student from Antioch University to work on work plan laid out herein.
• Share equipment and supplies, as necessary to maintain efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Contribute to developing protocols for work related to invertebrate and sediment sample collection and processing.
• Dr. Rachel Thiet of Antioch University will collaborate with CACO staff and cooperators to share and interpret biological, chemical, and physical data from East Harbor waters. The collaboration will also include an analysis of historical data from East Harbor collected by Antioch and CACO.
• Provide good communication regarding progress, issues, and changes to procedures laid out herein.
