Eligible Applicants: For profit organizations other than small businesses
Private institutions of higher education
Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
Additional Information on Eligibility: Eligible applicants are limited to nonprofit and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education). For-profit organizations must agree to forgo any profit or management fee.

OJJDP welcomes joint applications from two or more eligible applicants; however, one applicant must be clearly indicated as the primary applicant (for correspondence, award, and management purposes) and the others indicated as co-applicants

Description: This program will provide funding for the development and implementation of model technical assistance and training for child abuse professionals and to improve the judicial system’s handling of child abuse and neglect cases. The purpose of this program is to improve the coordinated multidisciplinary investigation and response to child abuse. This program is authorized under the Victims of Child Abuse (VOCA) Act 42 U.S.C. Section 13001 et. seq.
